Following deadly Israeli airstrikes in early 2026, Lebanon continues to face a humanitarian crisis despite a reduction in hostilities. While some families have been able to return home, hundreds of thousands of people remain displaced, with many unable to return due to damaged infrastructure, ongoing insecurity and limited access to essential services. Continued instability and periodic escalations have left communities facing prolonged uncertainty, loss and repeated displacement.
Many families remain in urgent need of food, clean water, healthcare, shelter and protection, while damage to homes, livelihoods and public infrastructure has deepened humanitarian needs. Women, children, older people and people living with disabilities continue to be among those most severely affected.
We remain on the ground in Lebanon, delivering life-saving food assistance, clean water, essential household items and other humanitarian support to vulnerable families affected by the crisis. With needs remaining high and humanitarian access continuing to face challenges, we remain committed to supporting communities as they recover and rebuild their lives.
