In 2024, we supported over 17 million people across the world, with emergency relief and innovative solutions to unimaginable crises.
The unprecedented scale of disaster across Gaza–Palestine, Sudan and Yemen, did not stop us from delivering on our promise to be there for those in need. Our heroic staff on the ground consistently provided urgent food, medical aid and essential supplies throughout 2024, even in the direst of circumstances – and our donors’ faith in us made this possible.
But in areas where war and conflict, economic decline and the climate crisis continue to exacerbate poverty and displacement, we know that relief alone isn’t enough.
In 2024, our donors contributed to more groundbreaking sustainable solutions to poverty – helping to strengthen healthcare for tens of thousands of young children facing drought and famine in Ethiopia, providing livelihood opportunities in economically strained Niger, and rebuilding the homes and lives of hundreds of displaced Syrian families in Northwestern Syria.
Together, we are helping communities build resilience to poverty and climate change, ensuring that the blessings of this Earth are safeguarded for future generations.
In 2024, Islamic Relief entered its 40th year in service to humanity – the world in which Islamic Relief was founded is vastly different to the world and its challenges of today. However, as we look to the future, we remain steadfast in our mission to improve the lives of all those around us. We know this is only possible because of your unwavering trust in the crucial work we do, the trust of those we serve and, most of all, the permission of Allah SWT.
