Islamic Relief South Africa (IRSA) is proud to announce the launch of a national initiative to build the capacity of local NGOs, empowering them to become more effective, sustainable and resilient.
Why this matters
Local NGOs in South Africa play a critical role in delivering essential services in communities, from education and early childhood development to healthcare and food security. However, many of these organisations lack the technical and institutional capacity to access funding and sustainably scale their impact.
Through this project, IRSA will work with selected NGOs to enhance their skills in:
- Project and Programme Management
- Governance and Legal Compliance
- Financial Management and Internal Controls
- Monitoring and Evaluation
- Advocacy and Resource Mobilisation
