THE HAJJ STEP CHALLENGE

From Makkah to Arafat and back, the average pilgrim walks 72 kilometres during their Hajj pilgrimage. This multiplied by the approximate 2.5million people that attend Hajj, is a cumulative 180 million kilometres walked over the days of Hajj.
As the world experience the second Dhul Hijjah during the COVID-19 pandemic, travel restrictions will prevent the throngs of believers that wish to fulfil this pillar of Islam. The crowds of Hajj will be significantly smaller, and our passion to circumambulate the Kaabah still burns while we await the opportunity to visit the Holy Lands, inshaAllah!
We are inviting you to emulate that journey, to a certain degree – for a cause!
What is the Hajj Step Challenge?

The Cause: Rebuilding Palestine

The funds you raise is dedicated to the rebuilding of Gaza. The latest escalation in conflict in Gaza came during a 15 year blockade which resulted in many households depending on organisations like Islamic Relief to assist them with food and other basic necessities.

The latest escalation of violence has worsened the existing humanitarian crisis in Gaza
The relentless, devastating bombing from sea, land, and air badly damaged the electricity and water networks. The damage of the sewage networks triggers an alarm about another looming health crisis. The health services are already close to collapsing after years of blockade and the current COVID-19 pandemic.

We need your help to REBUILD GAZA
