Islamic Relief has consultative status with the UN Economic and Social Council (special category), is a signatory to the code of Conduct for the international Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement and NGO’s Disaster Relief, and a member of British Overseas NGOs for Development (BOND).

RAMADAN FOOD DISTRIBUTION TENDER 2017

Islamic Relief SA wishes to appoint a Service Provider to take on significant responsibility for supplying, packaging and delivering of pre-Ramadan food parcels in the following areas; Cape Town, Durban and Johannesburg, Lesotho and Zimbabwe

This tender also envisages that the Service Provider be flexible in terms of quantity as the final tally will be determined at a later date.  The current estimate is based on our previous year’s acquisition.

The primary objective of the Ramadan food parcel campaign is to assist needy families with food parcels for the month of Ramadan. Full delivery of the consignment is expected to take place by 18th May 2017

All tenders are required to be submitted by Tuesday, 18th April 2017 pursuant to the attached guidelines for submitting a Tender Application.

Your tender applications will be screened accordingly, and if necessary, prospective vendors may be asked to present their proposal between 20th and 21st April 2017, by means which is acceptable by both parties.

VIDEOGRAPHY AND PHOTOGRAPHY RAMADAN 2017

Islamic Relief SA wishes to appoint a Videography and Photography Agency to take on significant responsibility for producing photographic and video material for our Ramadaan 2017 Food Security Programme 

The primary objective of the Ramadaan 2017 Food Security Programme is to ensure vulnerable families across Zimbabwe, South Africa and Lesotho benefit from our Food Security Programme. Alongside our Qurbani Campaign, it is one of our largest implementation projects undertaken during a calendar year.

The assignment is expected to take place from the 23rd May to 1st June 2017 and final delivery of the product is due the 5th June 2017. Please note that there are sporadic deliveries that are expected as the process enfolds
